The real estate business is one of the most volatile professions, especially during the last two decades. Having received my California real estate license in 1977, and my Broker’s license in 1986, I have seen many downturns, upturns, market hysteria, both good and bad, and just plain dead-calm market conditions where buyers and sellers are the most likely to find “normal” market conditions.
Active in the California and Arizona real estate markets, I have a unique perspective on the current market conditions. I am also a real estate investor and have purchased, sold, and exchanged hundreds of properties during my real estate career. As tough as the market conditions are today, they will turn around again, making real estate the choice for smart investors.
I have always put my clients’ interest first, and treated every sale as if I were the buyer. If I would not buy it, how on earth can I ask a client to purchase the property? Plus, if it is not a good deal for both parties, then it is not a good deal. Period.
I also understand how important it is to assist in the community. The real estate business can be all-consuming without giving us a break. That is why it is important for me to do those personal things away for the day-to-day real estate business.
I am the Varsity Tennis Coach at Foothill High School. Next year will be my 17th tennis season at the school. I am involved with the University of California, Irvine, and the CHAO Cancer Center, where we are hoping to assist them in finding an early detection test for ovarian cancer. I am a past president and board member of the Children’s Hospital of Orange County Padrinos.
I will keep trying to help my clients, give back a little, and hopefully make the world a better place.
